Sentry Tournament Of Champions

Sentry Tournament of Champions

After it’s brief sabbatical of just over a month the PGA tour returns to our screens this week with its traditional year opening curtain raiser in Hawaii, The Sentry Tournament of champions.

As has been the case for many years now this event marks the first of a two week stint in Hawaii as next week will see the first full field event…

Hero World Challenge

Hero World Challenge

So we have one more event to take a look at before the Christmas break, The Hero World Challenge.

The Hero World Challenge was first played in 2000.

The event benefits the Tiger Woods Foundation.

In its first year the event was played at the Grayhawk Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. It was then held from 2001 through to 2013 at the…

It was a disappointing end to the week for us in Mexico as Harris English who had been right in the hunt for us literally since the off finally succumbed to a double bogey on the 16th hole from a plugged lie in the final round to put paid to his, and our chances of a juicy winner, and instead it was Brendan Todd who in the end landed a remarkable second tour…

It wasn’t quite our week last time out on the PGA Tour in China as our decision to take the temptingly bigger odds on offer of 60-1 for a quarter first five on Matt Fitzpatrick backfired as he stalled on Sunday to go from having a great chance to win going in to the final day to slipping to seventh place.

Regular readers will know that most…

It was a good week for us at the inaugural Zozo Championship in Japan as we bagged two outright full place payouts in the shape of Gary Woodland and Corey Conners, who finished fifth and sixth respectively.

The week though belonged to Tiger Woods who returned from a lay off from another knee surgery to produce a stunning wire to wire victory…

It was a profitable week for us in the end at the CJ Cup courtesy of Cam Smith’s third place finish, however it could have been an awful lot better if our pre-tournament 175-1 shot Wyndham Clark hadn’t stalled on Sunday with 12 straight pars before finally posting a birdie on 18.

Wyndham had started the day in a tie for fourth place after back…

Once again it was a frustrating end to the week for us in Houston as Beau Hossler who was ideally positioned going in to Sunday to lay to rest the ‘ghost of Poulter past’ limped home with a level par 72 in round four to fall out of the places and, allowing for the disappointing showing from the rest of our team, leave us with a blank week.

Congratulations…

Houston Open

It was a disappointing week for us in Vegas as despite having three of our team, Putnam, Morikawa and Burgoon in decent shape going in to the weekend none of them could do enough on Saturday or Sunday to dent the places and we came away from the week empty handed.

In the end the week will be remembered for an incredible putting display from Kevin Na,…

The week started well for us at The Safeway Open as our headline pick Adam Scott got out of the blocks quickly to share the round one lead. Unfortunately after that though he stalled on Friday and it was downhill for him and us from there on in and by the weekend we were never really at the races.

Congratulations though to…

After a great week to start the 2019/20 PGA Tour campaign at the Greenbrier it was a but like ‘after the lord mayor’s show’ for us at the Sanderson Farms Championship as the majority of our team never really got going and the one who did, Scottie Scheffler, stalled over the weekend.

Even so though it was a really enjoyable tournament to watch on…
